queer notions promotes the mental health & well-being of lesbian, gay & bisexual people.

we offer a safe place where lesbians, gay men & bisexual people can find out more about issues around their mental health & well-being.

do you:

  • need to know what services are available to you?
  • need someone to talk to, or just somewhere to go?
  • need information about your rights?
  • feel anxious, worried, fed up, lonely?
drop in to a safe place:
alcohol, ageism, anxiety, bereavement, coming out, cross dressing, depression, drugs, eating distress, family, frustration, isolation, homophobia, low self-esteem, medication, prejudice, religion, relationships, self-harm, sexual abuse, work...

just some of the issues people talk about at
queer notions

we are a group of lesbians, gay men & bisexual people who recognise the lack of services available.

the group is committed to campaigning for improved relevant mental health care & actively challenges homophobia in the mental health system.

queer notions has been providing support & information about mental health since 1998.

where are we?
